Project 365: Days 171-177

Day 171- Morgan and Dumbo- she has had him since she was a baby, and still sleeps with him every night
Day 172- Vivian convinced me to play Street Fighter with her. I hate video games. She kicked my butt.

Day 173- this lovely fellow was hanging out on my front porch

Day 174- Viv's new glasses! Cute as ever!

Day 175- I love Netflix! Seeing the red envelope in the mailbox makes me happy!

Day 176- Chasing Papo with a watergun. He has been pretty sick lately, so it did my heart good to see him run around a bit.

Day 177- Morgan and her crush, Bobby. He is actually the boyfriend of one of my coworkers, but Morgan has been in love with him for over a year now!

Sarah- a layout

Just a simple layout of my niece using Jeni Bowling Soda Pop Label paper. I actually didn't care for it, but then I cut it into strips and wove a few of them to make a random kind of photo mat. I love the way it turned out!

My Stories of Summer

Ali Edwards has yet again found a simple and striking way to inspire the way we look at scrapbooking, story-telling, photos and life. Her Stories of Summer series kicks off this week with photos and thoughts behind summer memories.

This is what my summer looks like so far:

This is our first year with Kings Island season passes. A waterpark is attached to the main amusement park, and this is where we love to spend our time. Somehow, without a beach, lake or pool, my girls have become water babies. Sliding, splashing, floating...they can't get enough. And I can't get enough of watching them!

Day 169- rolling scrap tote all packed up and ready to go!

Project 365: Days 157-163

Here are my pictures from last week. Better late than never!

Day 157- Boomerang Bay, the waterpark attached to our local amusement park.

Day 158- The drive home from work. Beautiful day!
Day 159- Not-so-beautiful day. So much rain lately!

Day 160- I pass this little mailbox every day; the house it belongs to is located at a stoplight. Today I realized how much I enjoy it, and it brightens my day.
Day 161- University Pointe medical center, where I see my rhuematologist.
Day 162- an unexpected visitor, although with all the rain we've had, I can see how he would mistake our driveway for a pond!
Day 163- My dad with all his granddaughters (and one daughter-in-law who is holding the baby!)

Waiting for the bus on the last day of school

Hubs and his guitar. Nice sunburn.

Chicken bacon ranch calzones for dinner. Yum!

Loving my flowers!

My niece Emilea. Going to some grad parties!
